Friends of St James’ Church

Our aim is to raise funds and motivate interest in the history, heritage and preservation of St James’ Church.  We need your help to

Preserve the beauty and history of the church building.

Keep the church hall as a community resource.

Maintain the churchyard as an attractive, peaceful area.

How have we used our funds to help St James?

Since our launch in June 2011, we have either paid for, or made a substantial donations towards, the following:

The completion of the South path in 2011/12

Refurbishment of toilet facilities in 2014

Refurbishment of WW1 plaque in 2014

Replacement West Door Lantern in 2015

125th Anniversary Seat in 2015

A new Nave Altar in 2017
